Some say it’s too early whilst others are really getting into that festive spirit mood. But what do you think? Do you like to plan, or do you leave everything last minute and head to the shops on Christmas Eve followed by a swift drink in the pub?
Here at Haystack, we have already ticked one major thing off our list which is our Christmas party. In fact, we had our event booked earlier this month. Some may say that it’s too early to even think about a Christmas party but it’s always best to plan these things in advance. Let’s face if you want to chance it, you may get left feeling disappointed that the venue you are all hoping to celebrate in has been fully booked. My advice, if you haven’t thought about this yet, start planning and have a look at venues to host your party today. You have worked hard all year and you deserve to celebrate in style.
In terms of Christmas shopping for your loved ones, I would also recommend purchasing your products in advance. Don’t forget that Black Friday lands on the 23rd of November this year where you can really pick up some bargains. Since 2016, we’ve noticed a trend. Black Friday ads are being released in advance, as early as October 1st whilst bigger brand names are releasing theirs from the 1st of November. Amazon normally releases their ads around the middle of November and eBay will continue its tradition of releasing their ads last minute as usual.
A few years ago, Black Friday was specifically meant to be a one-day event but now it has turned into week-long affair. For the year of 2018 predictions are high that there will be huge savings on everything tech wise. From laptops, tablets, Google Home and Alexa, as well as cameras and gaming products. It’s going to be a tidal wave of deals this year, so get prepared and do your research to find the best deals around. Avoid all the stress and the last-minute hustle and bustle of the crazy shopping tactics and plan ahead of time.
