Let the games begin! It’s the most talked about event of the year and the world is eagerly awaiting to see who is going to win the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

It’s been 4 years since Germany won the World Cup against Argentina in Brazil and with some of the best world football players competing in the first-class sport, billions of people are expected to watch the games live and through their devices. Well, according to research on YouTube, the most searched players from users in England this year were Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford (surprising one?!) Whilst over on Twitter it has been revealed the most searched players were also Neymar, Ronaldo and Messi.

If you are worried about missing some of the games, then don’t panic as thanks to Google, they have made it more convenient for you to keep up to date on your favourite teams and players by searching something like “World Cup 2018” and “FIFA World Cup”. If you have Siri, Alexa or Google Home, then you can always ask your devices whose playing next or the scores for the day and try asking who will win the World Cup? I am sure you will enjoy their responses.
